The Pregnancy Bonding Programme
  • In-House Face to Face Training

The Pregnancy Bonding Programme offers in-house Face To Face training for teams of staff to become Pregnancy Bonding Accredited Coaches.

The Training Journey

To become a Pregnancy Bonding Accredited Coach (PBAC) your team will complete the following:

  1. Attend a 2-day training course (Curriculum details below)
  2. Following the Face-To-Face course, students must complete the following:
  • Access the online Pregnancy Bonding Academy and complete the self-directed modules
  • Complete the online assessments
  • Submit completed assessments and student evaluation forms

   3. Receive their Full Accreditation as a  Pregnancy Bonding Accredited Coach and begin to deliver the programme.

ALL COACHES WILL ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO THE COACHING SUPPORT HUB:

 An online community of Pregnancy Bonding Coaches where information, programme outcomes and the latest reseach can be shared. The Hub also acts as a CPD resource.

Course Curriculum

During the two day Face-To-Face training course, students will be introduced to the complete Pregnancy Bonding Curriculum Including:

  • Understanding Pregnancy Bonding
  • The Costs of Poor Attachment
  • The Pregnancy Journey and its Role in Attachment and Bonding
  • The Benefits of Pregnancy Bonding for Mum, Dad and Baby
  • The Role of Oxytocin
  • The Positive Nurturing Environment – The 7 Steps to Success
  • The Role of Parent and Baby Communications – The 5 Engagement Senses
  • Using this knowledge and insight in a Pregnancy Support role
  • How to Deliver the Programme to Parents
  • An Introduction to the Parent Facing Courses
  • An Introduction to The Class Companion
  • An Introduction to The Parents Book 
  • An Introduction to the Online Learning Academy
  • An Introduction to the Support Hub and CPD
  • Completion of the Certification Process
  • The Accreditation Process

Having completed all of the above requirements and achieved the required standard, students will:

  1. Receive an internationally recognised qualification as a Pregnancy Bonding Accredited Coach (PBAC).
  2. Gain access to the Pregnancy Bonding Support Hub and Community.
  3. Be able to incorporate knowledge and insights into their day to day role.
  4. Be able to facilitate a comprehensive programme of Pregnancy Bonding and Attachment.
  5. Lay the foundations for a positive parent-child relationship that gives both parent and baby the best possible start in life.
Pregnancy Bonding Accredited Coach

From the date of training, each member of your team will receive One Year’s Membership as a Pregnancy Bonding Programme Accredited Coach, which is included in the training fee. As a member of the Pregnancy Bonding Programme, your team will become part of a growing network of Specialist Pregnancy Bonding Coaches worldwide.

  • Online Training

The Pregnancy Bonding Programme also offers a comprehensive Online Training option for those who wish to become Pregnancy Bonding Accredited Coaches (PBAC).
The curriculum is identical to the Face-To-Face training.

The Pregnancy Bonding Programme Online offers an interactive Virtual Academy whereby students can easily train in the Safety, Convenience and Comfort of their own home and at at their own convenience to become one of the growing network of Pregnancy Bonding Accredited Coaches (PBAC’s).

To ensure our online students receive a complete training experience we have developed and produced a comprehensive range of videos, online documents and interactive quizzes which accurately replicates the Face-To-Face curriculum.

Our Online Training Courses have the benefit that students can watch and re-watch our training videos time and time again until they feel 100% confident

The Pregnancy Bonding Programme’s online course is also self-paced, which means you can access the various sections of the curriculum at a time that suits you and in the comfort of your own home.

The full process all the way through to accreditation can take place within the online environment and can be achieved within a matter of weeks.
  • Our Online Training is also fully approved so you will have no problem attaining full practice insurance at the end of your course, wherever you are in the world.
  • The process of the Online Training is very similar to our Face-To-Face training and follows an identical curriculum. 

  • The assessment and accreditation process of the online course is also the same as the Face-To-Face provision.
